The Claddagh
Band
Bookings
- Kevin Brennan (707) 824-1888
The Claddagh
Band is singer/guitarist Kevin Brennan and whomever he's
playing with at the moment...any of a number of top-notch local
musicians. The usual suspects these days include the fabulous singing
bassist Scott Beynon and the redoubtable Uncle Bob
on percussion and vocals. I often join them on electric guitar,
and it's always a blast, whether helping someone get married or
celebrating St. Pat's day.
A Belfast native,
Kevin knows literally hundreds of songs, from traditional Irish
to rock and roll, blues, country and folk. Claddagh plays hundreds
of dates a year, and has performed behind both Van Morrison
and his daughter Shana Morrison. Look for Claddagh
in regular rotation at:
- The San
Gregorio Store (San Gregorio, CA), the 3rd Sat. of each
month. If you've never been to "the Store", you owe
it to yourself to check out their fine combination of friendly
bar, bookstore, kicky clothing boutique, gift shop and farmer's
general store.
- The Rose
(2074 Armory Dr., Santa Rosa, CA, 707-546-ROSE)
- Dicey
Reilly's and Behan's (Burlingame, CA)
- Cafe
Amsterdam (Fairfax, CA)
The Claddagh
Band is available for festivals, parties, and special events,
and wakes, in electric or acoustic versions. Instruments available
include:
- acoustic
and/or electric guitar
- bass
- drums and/or
percussion
- fiddle
- banjo
- harmonica
- pedal steel
