Web Design and Development

More Moose Web Development can help you create an attractive, professional websites for your business or other project. Designing and implementing a website can seem like a daunting process; I help simplify and explain the process, and assist you in acquiring a domain name and web hosting service.

Some of the sites below were designed with the assistance of my partner Deirdre McCarthy of StarDriveGraphics.com.

Ratso Recording & Music
Musician, performer, and music teacher Rick Cittar worked with me to convert his previously existing site to a whole new look, emphasizing his new project, Uncle Bob.
Peter F Browne
Dr. Browne is an eminent physicist, based in England. He had very simple, specific requirements for a site to publicize and sell his most recent book. His site consists of one page containing copyright information, a summary of the book, a PayPal "Buy Now" button, and a visitor counter. The background color duplicates that of the book cover.
Josephine Carlton - Author of Life Messages: Inspiration For the Women's Spirit, a spirited conversation with 24 incredible women. The visual look of this site was designed by Rob Keil.
Brook Schoenfield - Pagan blues/jazz guitarist, singer, songwriter and teacher. Brook started by providing me with a variety of printed materials from his past promotional packages. I provided a little coaching, and Brook has gone on to edit and update his own site.
Norma Diana - Latin singer-songwriter. Deirdre McCarthy of StarDrive Graphics created the stunning look of Norma Diana's site, including all visual elements such as the banner, logo, buttons and background pattern.
Aargon Neon - custom neon signs in the classic mid-century style, by Bill Concannon. As is often the case, Bill came to me with a partially finished site that had been started by another designer. We worked together to organize and complete it so that it now serves Bill's business needs. Bill has created custom neon signs for a host of impressive clients, including Lucas Films, Francis Ford Coppola, and Star Trek. Black is the ideal background color for showing his work to its best advantage.
Mike Kitka
Mike's a singer/songwriter who wanted a simple web presence but didn't have a lot of money to spend. Using my digital graphics tablet, I basically "doodled" a logo, banner and background pattern for him - a simple, yet striking and attractive solution. Mike has gone on to do some of his own updating, adding pictures and text to his site.
ODI - engineering, product design and development. This site was co-designed with StarDrive Graphics. This site has been retired.
QPS - Quality Printing & Shipping

Spracht - cool products for telecommunication.

This site has also recently been retired.

Stardrive Graphics - Deirdre's "placeholder" for her business. Her site illustrates the maxim that the shoemaker's children go barefoot, the mechanic doesn't have time to work on his car, the carpenter eats dinner off an unfinished plank...etc.
The Veil - Celto-Middle Eastern song and story
Skyoga - Yoga instructor Lila Skye

Performance Schedule

August 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th: Kelly McCubbin’s Golden Hour of Radio - 8pm at The Exit Theater, San Francisco

That’s right – I’m starring (ok, matter of opinion) in a brilliant new play called Kelly McCubbin’s Golden Hour of Radio! (or: the Ukeapocalypse Radio Hour). I’ll be playing “beleaguered announcer” Murray, as well as Risk Management Specialist Endrin Smyzel. The cast is a tremendously talented group, some of whom you know already, the rest of which you should.

This original play, penned by local writers including Rey Zegri and Chad McComber (of Single Entendre fame),  features the hilarious misadventures of a dysfunctional contemporary radio theater company. The second half features an “On Air” performance of an original sci-fi radio script! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll kiss 15 bucks goodbye!

Save the Dates Now! There will be 4 performances only!

August 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th! (For you laymen, that’s the first couple of Friday and Saturday nights in August.)

Where?

The Exit Theater
156 Eddy Street, San Francisco, CA
Tickets $15 and $10

There might be cake! OK, there will be cake. We're bringing it.

Back in the Stone Age -- 15 years ago -- just after the monkeys stopped throwing things at obelisks, there arose out of the ground a great Celtic rock band, and barely to be heard over the chanting of the Druids, was the band name, "Avalon Rising." (As good a creation myth as any.) At one point, there were other people in the band. Now there are these people in the band. Go figure. Step with us --- into the future! Will there be flying cars? No, only us, just like we are today, only it'll be the 19th. Amazing! Astounding! Good thing there's going to be cake.

Come on down and join us in a toast to 15 years of Celtic rock!
